What will the course will offer?
Ø Introduction to the 8 sensory systems
Ø Consideration of how the senses impact upon a child's functioning
Ø Discussion around strategies and environmental adaptations
Ø Time to meet other parents and caregivers attending the group
Ø Please be aware, we will not be able to provide specific assessment of individual children in this group
Ø Each course will be 4 hours long
Ø This will include mixed learning opportunities (e.g., Powerpoint, questionnaires and practical activities)
Ø To take place at St Austell Conference Centre
Ø 10.30am -2.30PM, to fit around the school day/childcare
Ø September 26th 2024
