In this online talk, Fast Forward Labs and Stan Group will discuss why probabilistic programming is generating so much excitement in machine learning and statistics. We'll explain what probabilistic programming languages are, how they work, why they're exciting now, and how they can be applied to model scenarios and inform risky decisions. We'll also show real-world examples of models built using Stan, a high-performance language for Bayesian inference.
