We Can Pickle That!

Pickling 101 for everyone we will cover basics of low-acid pickling, salt brining, and lactic fermentation pickling. Participants will engage in hands-on activities and go home with small batch pickles and recipes to recreate at home. Our trained food processor will cover inspection and food safety protocol to ensure sterility and quality for an 18+ month shelf life of your future home preserves.

Many are familiar with pickled cucumber or beets, radishes, and carrots, but what about pickled watermelon rind or a sweet pickled cantaloupe? Our workshop will stretch your imagination and push the boundaries on how you think about pickles and send you off with the persistent wonder, “ I can pickle THAT!”
