Introduction to PeopleSoft Query 

All course offerings are for employees of King County government unless otherwise noted.

King County Learning and Development

This course is open to experienced PeopleSoft Query users who wish to learn how to create useful reports using PS Query.
Topics covered will include:

<LI>Relational Database Concepts</LI>
<LI>The importance of effective dates</LI>
<LI>Data Dictionary for the HCM database</LI>
<LI>Important tables: KC_Employees, KC_JobHIST & KC_POSNDTA_R_VW</LI>
<LI>Practice creating, modyfying, and running queries</LI>
<LI>Exporting to Excel</LI>
</UL>
Session will be held in Training Room 608 on the sixth floor of the Administration Building. It is a secured office, so go to the south doors that say “Employee Entrance Only.” Follow the posted instructions to call the training room and someone will come and let you in.
User guides and training materials are provided. Sessions will be “hands-on the keyboard” so come prepared to learn by doing!
