<p>Set your creativity free! Don't be limited by what you see in the pattern catalogs. Patternmaking teaches you the skills you need to create working sewing patterns from your own designs. Learn how to create a wide variety of styles using a basic bodice pattern. You'll practice hands-on how to create and move darts, transform darts into princess seams, create yokes, and more. We'll also discuss how these design details relate to fit issues, and how the placement of fit design details can affect the flattering appearance of the final garment.</p><p>Participants will create a detailed reference notebook with written instructions and pattern samples created in class.</p>
