About this event

  • 3 hours

This class will follow the course of my own creative development from two-dimensional garment representation to the large three-dimensional pieces I make today. Students will work with various paper and mixed media elements to convey three dimensional drape, flair and decoration on a two dimensional framework. Each person will have the opportunity to shop my copious ephemera, ribbon and embellishment collection to create truly unique pieces. All supplies will be provided, including die-cut mannequins to build upon.

These workshops are designed to teach skills and encourage creativity. You will find the decision making and problem solving to be inspiring and invigorating. I believe in meeting an individual where they are and supporting them towards their own success.

Are the workshops accessible?

The Art Emergency studios are on the ground floor with no stairs to access the door. If you have mobility issues, reach out to me ahead of time and I will endeavor to reserve a parking space next to the entrance.
