About this event

  • Event lasts 1 day 7 hours

Mediation skills can be applied within a wide variety of situations: an employee dispute, a community controversy or a quarrel between family members. The mediator acts as an impartial third party to facilitate communication between disputants and to support them in reaching their own decisions.

Presentations on the mediation process will be alternated with opportunities to practice through role plays. These will be supervised by Will Dudenhausen - DSC's Director of Training - who will offer feedback and support. This workshop will be held in person.

Our Communication and Conflict Resolution Skills workshop is a PREREQUISITE for this workshop.

Our trainings are available to local nonprofit organizations at a discounted rate. For details, please reach out to Linda: linda@disputesettlement.org
