About this event

Gestalt therapy is a relational, holistic, and experiential approach to psychotherapy that focuses on the here and now, emphasizing personal responsibility and awareness of the present moment. With its emphasis on authentic connection between therapist and client, it becomes particularly relevant in the era of online therapy and artificial intelligence.

In this workshop, through a combination of didactic instruction, experiential work, and group discussions, we will explore Gestalt therapy's key concepts and techniques, such as:

  1. Gestalt therapy's theoretical foundations, including its roots in existentialism, phenomenology, and Gestalt psychology.
  2. The emphasis on awareness, contact, and relationship.
  3. Techniques such as the empty chair, the two-chair technique, and others.
  4. The integrative holistic approach in working with body and mind.

This workshop is suitable for mental health professionals, students, coaches, or anyone interested in learning about Gestalt Therapy.

If requested, a Certificate of Completion of 12 hours of Professional Education is issued to the participants.
