When a disaster happens, how can I help?
The Episcopal Church in Connecticut Disaster Preparedness Team and Episcopal Relief and Development will be hosting a training opportunity on November 5, 2016 at St. John’s Episcopal Church in West Hartford. The program will cover –
- Disaster 101
- Learn about ECCT’s Disaster Preparedness Team
- Identifying our gifts
- Understanding hazard assessment
- How to help when disaster strikes
- Resources available to your parish
Facilitators are – Lura Steele, Training Coordinator, Episcopal Relief and Development and Mike Corey, ECCT Disaster Preparedness Team
The program will run from 9:00am to 3:00pm, a light lunch will be provided.
