Introduction to Dermal Fillers

This 8-hour didactic and hands-on filler course is for licensed medical providers in California (RN, NP, PA, or MD).

Topics covered include live patient assessment, facial anatomy, gel rheology, filler brands and appropriate selection, filler indications, injection techniques and safety concerns. Areas injected will include the cheeks, chin, nasolabial folds and marionette. All participants will have the opportunity to inject two different areas. Models will be provided.

Pre-requisite: Previous neurotoxin course or experience injecting neurotoxins or dermal fillers.

Class size limited to 5 participants.

Participants encouraged to wear black scrubs .

SCHEDULE:

• 9:30-10am - Breakfast and introduction
• 10-10:30am - Filler history
• 10:30-11am - Filler rheology and indications
• 11am-12pm - Facial anatomy & fller safety
• 12:30-1 pm - Lunch (provided)
• 1-6pm - Live patient assessment and injections.
