Learn about accessible data visualization practices and choosing the best chart type to visualize your data.

Digital Scholarship SeriesData visualization is a vital part of data analysis as we conduct our research, but accurate and readable charts are also important for conveying information to different audiences. This workshop introduces resources and best practices for creating accessible charts and identifying the most effective chart types for different kinds of data. We will also explore a particular data viz tool called Plotly. No prior experience with Plotly or data viz is required; all are welcome to participate! <a href="https://ucrlibrary.eventbrite.com">Complete List of UCR Library Events</a> - All UCR community members are welcome to attend.
