About this event

This introduction to shooting sports clinic is intended to be an introduction for those new to or interested in firearms and the shooting sports. The clinic is suitable for individuals ages 14 and older and is offered at two different times, 10:00am and 3:00pm. Each session is identical and will have a duration of approximatly 2 hours and 30 minutes. Cost is $80.00 per person and includes instruction, shotgun rental, ammunition, eye protection, ear protection and clay targets. Each individual will have an opportunity to shoot one box of 25 cartridges. Snacks and water will be provided.

Structure:

This clinic will be 75% classroom focused with the remaining 25% spent on the range shooting.

This class will be taught by James Chambers. James was first introduced to the shooting sports at age 12 when he started pheasant hunting at Hunter's Creek Club with his family. He is a 1986 graduate of Lawrence Tech University and has worked in the wedding floral and party industry for 30 plus years. He is a NSSA certified skeet instructor and a NSCA certified level two sporting clays instructor with hundreds of hours of coaching experience.
