Students in middle and high school who have an interest in learning about careers in the building industry, are invited to join us for the Introduction to Carpentry camp. This camp explores the basics of carpentry and applies the use of workshop tools and equipment with instruction by industry professionals. Participants will have an opportunity to grow more confident about tackling projects in the FieldWerx workshop.
The HSU Educational Foundation Workforce Partner for this camp is Triple R Construction.
This camp is held at the HSU Innovation Institute South at 709 Anchors Street in FWB July 29th to August 2nd from 1:00pm - 4:00pm.
Students must wear closed toe shoes and long pants for their safety in the woodshop.
Students may bring a snack and drink with their name it each day.
