Introduction to Career Development
In this workshop you will learn the key elements of career development, identify your individual interests and values as they relate to career options, explore similar job classifications, learn the importance of competencies when identifying career options, leverage tips for engaging in conversations with your leadership, and gain the knowledge of how to research and seize career opportunities. You will choose a partner and participate in various exercises together.
Pre-workshop Instructions:
Approximately one week prior to the workshop, you will emailed instructions and a link to an interest inventory assessment for you to complete on-line. Please print and bring a copy of the results to the workshop.
