This class will be an introduction to creating calligraphy with a dip pen and ink. Participants will learn the basic strokes, the lower case and uppercase Copperplate Calligraphy letters, how to put words together, and extra practice exercises to complete at home. You will learn how simple breathing techniques can help with not only creating beautiful calligraphy but also quiet your mind and relieving overall stress. All materials will be included.
Jessica first learned calligraphy as a kid, and is passionate about teaching others the wellness benefits of creating beautiful lettering in this digital age.
This class is appropriate for students ages 10 and up.
There is a $10 materials fee due to the instructor at the beginning of class.
