This workshop will take place on June 7 and 8 from 6pm to 9pm at the LMU Center for the Arts in Cumberland Gap, Tennessee.


Join artist Alma Elaine Shoaf for this workshop exploring different book binding techniques. This workshop introduces the techniques, terminology and theory of book arts and bookbinding. During this 2-day workshop, participants will learn several different book binding techniques, from small folded pamphlets to ornately stitched hardcover journals. So come learn how to create your own artist book from scratch.


This workshop is for participants ages 18 and up.


The cost of this workshop is $30. Scholarships are available.


This workshop will be held in person at the LMU Center for the Arts in Cumberland Gap, Tennessee.
