The essentials to getting started in beekeeping will be covered.

<LI>The primary breeds of honey bees and their basic physiology</LI>
<LI>State and local regulations</LI>
<LI>Honey bee types and how to buy them</LI>
<LI>Hive types</LI>
<LI>Basic beekeeping equipment</LI>
<LI>How to setup hives and installation of bees</LI>
<LI>Bee diseases and parasites and how to treat them</LI>
<LI>Personal Protection</LI>
<LI>Annual hive maintenance</LI>
<LI>What to look for during each season of the year</LI>
