In 2012 he performed at SXSW in Austin, TX as part of the Nigerian contingent in an African showcase. He has since played in numerous groups and opened for such acts as Richard Bona, Mike Stern, Marcus Johnson, Marsha Ambrosius, and Anita Baker.
