Intro to using Handplanes

The hand plane is one of the most basic tools for woodworking; and more importantly, it is one of the most delightful tools to use when set up correctly.
In this 3 hours class, you will learn the anatomy of the humble handplane, how to care for, set up and sharpen a handplane, and finally a few different ways of using a handplane.
The money collected for the class fee goes toward tools and maintenance materials for the Vancouver Hack Space woodworking shop.
