Intro to User Experience Design (tccodes)
Event Information
About this Event
Companies like Apple and Airbnb have been able to create products that people love by making design a core piece of their organizations. Specifically, this is done through a discipline called User Experience design. The goal of the UX designer is to understand user needs and create interfaces and experiences that align with (and exceed) user expectations.
With many more companies seeing the value of investing in design, there’s never been a better time to get started as a user experience designer.
Join Jason Amor for this Intro to UX Design. You will learn:
- The importance of UX design
- A framework for an effective design process
- Principles to guide design decision-making
- The basics of wireframing, prototyping, and visual design
- Lean research and user testing methods
This event is hosted by 20Fathoms as part of the tccodes talent development initiative. It is intended for intermediate to advanced software developers. For questions contact keith@20fathoms.org or visit tccodes.org.
