Are you enthused and curious about the naturally rooted structures around you? Feeling overwhelmed by the number of different tree species living in D.C.? Join Casey Trees and the <A HREF="https://dpr.dc.gov/" TARGET="_blank" DATA-MSYS-CLICKTRACK="0" REL="nofollow noopener noreferrer">Department of Parks and Recreation</A> as we introduce you to the trees lining our streets, backyards, parks, and schools.
 
During this training, you will learn how to identify trees commonly found in Washington D.C., from the sprouting buds and leaves to the beautiful flowers we love so much. A portion of the class will be dedicating to practicing our tree ID skills by observing trees outside.
 
This course is geared toward anyone who is interested in building confidence in tree identification.
 
Getting There The location of the class will be released in the next couple of weeks.

Who Should Attend? Citizen Foresters, Citizen Scientists, Project Organizers and others interested in building confidence in tree identification.
