In this hands-on class, you’ll learn the fundamentals of sharpening a pair of scissors or a non-serrated knife using professional equipment, including the 10" Grizzly Wet Grinder & Tormek T-4 sharpening system. Whether it’s for cooking, crafting, or everyday use, this class will teach you how to restore a keen edge to your tools with confidence and precision.

This class is perfect for beginners looking to develop skills in sharpening tools at home while prioritizing safety. Please note: Advanced tools, chisels, or axes will not be covered in this session. Stay tuned for future classes focused on those items!

LMS Members who complete this course will be considered proficent and may use the Tormek or Grizzly grinding wheels during open shop hours.

LMS has a $10 no-show fee for LMS members who don't show up for the classes they sign up for. These fees will be charged to the card we have on file. This fee is being implemented due to a pattern of members not showing up to our classes. Our classes have a limited number of slots and we want to serve as many attendees as possible.
