Instagram shouldn’t be your entire marketing plan—but it’s certainly one powerful part of it. Led by savvy strategist Ericka Saurit, this workshop is tailor-made to help designers understand where Instagram fits into a holistic marketing program—and how to employ the platform to express what makes your business unique, resonant and highly referable. Part one of a two-part social storytelling series, this introductory session will explore how to think like a brand and communicate like a master narrator. Going far beyond tactics and trends, Saurit will uncover the deeper methodology behind utilizing Instagram with intention as a means to create impact. You’ll come away with an understanding of how to not just gain followers but use content to connect emotionally with your ideal clients.
In this class, attendees will learn:
- Why Instagram should support (not define) your marketing strategy
- The five essential marketing moves that shape high-performing content
- How to connect your brand message to what your audience actually cares about

By the end of class, attendees will have:
