In this one-day workshop, participants will learn the fundamentals ofsilkscreen printmaking in Red Bird Press’s studio. Using a physical,hand-made approach to design, each participant will get to create andprint a two-color serigraph! This workshop is ideal for completebeginners who have little or no experience screen printing, and areinterested in learning about the process. Topics covered include:materials and supplies needed for silkscreen, step-by-step tutorialson screen + image development, how to create a design, best practicesfor printing, editioning, and more!
