About Nh.d StudioNh.d is a design studio and creative workshop located in Petworth. Nathan is an adjunct faculty member at George Washington University’s Corcoran College of the Arts and Design in the BFA design program, and is a founding member of the Petworth Business Community. In addition to screenprinting and woodworking, Nathan produces theDesign Intercourse Podcast.You can find out more about the studio herenhd-studio.com

Nathan Hill

Join us on February 16th and learn to silkscreen at Nh.d Studio with other creative like-minded folks! Attendees will learn about the necessary tools and supplies needed to create your own set up. We'll cover basics such as selecting the right screens, choosing and working with inks, squeegees, paper, emulsion, lighting and more! As a group you will be making a series of custom prints using a selection of six abstract shapes and patterns. 
Paper and ink will be supplied. We’ll also throw in music, light snacks and beverages – including wine and beer. Our workshops are great for anyone looking to get away from the screen, meet new folks and make something with your hands. They’re perfect for small groups, friends, and buddies. 
Be sure to wear clothes that won’t mind a splash paint ;)
