About this event
Discover the basics of software development by learning a popular programming language called Python. This series is designed for anyone who is interested in learning software development but does not know where to begin or who to ask.
This short course is comprised of a series of 3 sessions. Each session is 3-hour long, consisting of 2 hours of instruction and an hour of tutorial.
The free, online, live and instructor-led sessions will take place via Zoom Meetings. Zoom meeting links will be provided upon registration.

Murray Law is a software engineer and network administrator; he spent ten years at Microsoft, working first on the Windows Networking team where he helped to ship products, such as Windows XP and Windows Server 2003. After five years in the Windows group, Murray became a founding member of the Real Time Communications group, helping to develop networking protocols and messaging features for Office Communications Server and Lync. He is a Microsoft Certified Technical instructor and has taught high-level languages such as C#. He also taught SQL and applications, such as Windows Active Directory and Cloud integration services. During his free time, Murray enjoys playing ice hockey and maintaining marine aquariums.
