A fun intro session walking you through the basics of printmaking!

Start by learning how to transfer your chosen design onto your carving block. Designs are provided to trace or draw something custom! Special tools will be provided to carve out your design.

After your block is carved, visit the inking station to roll ink onto your design and print it onto a paper card. Create a series of prints to take home with you!

Come and enjoy the time creating and making your own unique art prints.

What's Included:

  • 2 hours of guided instruction
  • All materials including the use of carving tools, brayers, inks, etc.
  • Your carved block and printed pieces to take home!

About Your Instructor: Olivia Yuen is a local printmaking artist and sells work through her company, Liv Makes Prints. Her work is inspired by several subjects including the natural world, botany, and her cultural heritage. When she isn't creating her own work, Olivia has a day job as an art teacher in Phoenix.
