Interested in the world of welding? Maybe you just bought a new welder for a home project and need a solid introduction to get up and running. Or maybe you're just curious about how welding works. This is a great way to get expert advice on welding techniques and best practices.
In a semi-private class (maximum of 4), students will learn how to use a basic metal inert gas (MIG) welder to produce even, controlled beads as they work with solid wire and shielding gas. They will work with different metal alloys, material thickness, and weld joints.

- Mandatory Safety Equipment: Safety Glasses (Maketory has pairs available at the facility if you do not own any). Closed-toed shoes, full length pants and short sleeves. Pull back hair, remove all jewelry.
- Advisable but not required: Hearing protection
- Minimum Age: 18, or 13 or older with a parent or gaurdian's signature
- If class is sold out and you have a group interested, please contact us directly to coordinate a new date.
- We require at least 3 participants to run the course. In the event we do not reach 3 participants we will reach out to reschedule or issue a refund, whichever you prefer.
- Tickets are nonrefundable (unless class is cancelled) and can not be used for another date.
