About this event

Kintsugi is the Japanese method of repairing broken pottery by fusing the cracks together and highlighting them with gold.

Kintsugi embraces the philosophy of Wabi-Sabi, celebrating the beauty in imperfection.

We love the sustainability of this practice- turning something that would otherwise be useless trash into a unique and beautiful work of art. It's an enjoyable and practical skill that you will find yourself using throughout your lifetime!

Come enjoy a fun and relaxed environment while you learn everything you need to know to create your own Kintsugi masterpieces! Taught be a skilled artisan, our Kintsugi workshop breaks down the fine details of the process so you will go home not just with a beautiful piece you created, but with the skills and confidence to practice Kintsugi on your own.All tools and materials are provided, as well as a ceramic piece that you get to break yourself (fun!).
