About this event

  • Event lasts 2 hours

The Dirty Girls will share their experience and knowledge about kayaking during this introductory class ON LAND. We will answer your questions and address any specific questions or concerns that you may have. We will cover basic kayaking safety and gear to bring when you go!

We will familiarize you with the basics of kayaking, the different types of kayaks and kayaking gear. We will include discussion of care and maintenance, transportation and storage of gear. You will have the opportunity to see, touch, lift and practice getting in and out of the kayaks.

You may want to write down specific concerns before you come and bring a note pad to take notes.

This class would be good for you if you have never kayaked, if you have beginner level experience or if you are in the market for a kayak of your own.

There are no refunds for this class.
