Intro to JavaScript: Build a Virtual Pet

Learn the programming fundamentals of JavaScript by building a virtual pet (think: Tamagotchi). With each new programming concept you learn, you will add new features to your game - including customizing your pets, feeding them, and keeping track of their health. See an example before you come: this virtual pet was made by an attendee at one of last events: https://cumbersome-vole.glitch.me/ Bring a laptop, and if you don't have one we'll match you up with someone who does. How to find us: 840 Apollo St., Suite 100, El Segundo, CA 90245 Directions & Parking: Take Rosecrans to Apollo St. Right on Apollo. Make your first right after our building (which is the one under construction) and then another right to enter the parking structure. The parking structure is between Continental Way and Apollo St.- note: it is not the open lot behind Shake Shack, it's a covered structure adjacent to the 840 building. There will be an overhang that says 840/880 Apollo Visitors. Where to park Please do NOT park in the "Visitor" spots on the first floor. You are welcome to park in the following spaces in the structure: 1. In any spot marked "Cross Campus" on any floor (including on the roof) 2. In any unmarked space
