Intro to Hand-building

Curious about pottery but unsure where to begin? Join us in Cobble Hill for a night of hand-building exercises and collaborative clay-making with Marissa Sanders.

This introductory class includes lessons on pinch pots, coil-building, and a collaborative tile-making project, providing the chance for both individual and group art-making.

In addition to lessons, there is also free-time for personal exploration and experimentation with the clay.

Clayground is a members-only ceramics studio, but we'll have special access to the space for the evening, so come and get an inside-look at one of Brooklyn's newest studios!

All supplies included, no prior experience necessary.
