About this event

Try your hand at working with clay to create pottery and ceramic art. This introductory class is a great way to dive into the craft and find out how much fun it can be.

All skill levels welcome. No prior experience needed.

The class will start off with some basic projects to introduce fundamental hand building concepts. We will make things like pinch pots, slab built cups, and coiled pots.

Pieces made during class will be fired, glazed, and available for pickup in 3-4 weeks.

Session includes:

As much or as little guidance and instruction as you’d like.

Access to studio tools, equipment, and studio glazes.

Firing for pieces made during class.

Clay, materials, supplies

Hooked on clay? Students who fall in love with the craft and want to join us weekly can sign up for our ongoing weekly class.
