531 East Cota Street Santa Barbara, CA 93103Since its inception, the FAF has provided, through its Access to the Arts (ATTA) initiative, professional level instruction in flamenco dance and music conducted by the masters.
Paco de Lucia, a legendary guitarist in the flamenco world, is credited for introducing the cajón to flamenco. This year is the 10th year of his passing and the FAF wishes to pay homage to his legacy with a cajón (box drum) class for beginners conducted by Paco Vega, professional percussionist and member of Mercedes de Córdoba's company.

Please note: This class is limited to 20 participants. Class will start promptly at 1:00 pm. Please arrive early to locate the building, park, and check-in. Parking is only available on the street.
Twenty (20) cajónes will be provided at no cost to the participant or bring your own.
We are unable to accept registrations beyond the 20-participant limit. On the day of the event, walk-ins will be allowed only if the class has not reached the 20 participant limit. Please register early to reserve your spot.
