Finger weaving is a fun & ancient skill that results in beautiful belts, bags, bands and bracelets! An ancient weaving technique which requires no loom or equipment is now a method to create wearable art! A relaxing, even meditative hobby, fingerwoven designs are distinctive and cannot be duplicated by loom-weaving methods.
Carla will lead students through the basic weave and terminology used to create traditional designs. We will use acrylic yarns as they are easiest to work with for beginners, but feel free to bring woolen yarns if preferred.
