Intro to Data for Purpose-Driven Professionals
Learn the basic terms and concepts surrounding research and performance measurement.
About the Webinar
Not sure what regression analysis is? Want to learn more about margins of error? More like who doesn’t?!
This summer, Measurement Resources is excited to announce a brand-new webinar that will cover many of the basic terms and concepts surrounding research and performance measurement. We know you have questions that you’ve been too afraid to ask in meetings, and we want to help. And if we’re going to be honest with ourselves, we’d really like it if more people spoke our language.
So whether you’re brand new to the social sector, or you’re a veteran nonprofit rock star, we’ll break down some of these basic concepts so that you can:
1. Integrate data more in your day-to-day work.
2. Have insightful conversations with your internal analyst.
3. Understand how there can possibly be a 300% increase in something (doesn’t it only go up to 100?).
4. Sound smarter at cocktail parties.
Join Sheri Chaney Jones, president of Measurement Resources Company and SureImpact, Inc., for this one-hour webinar on Thursday, July 29, from 3:00 to 4:00 pm (Eastern Time). This webinar is free and open to all, but registration is required.
While we have some good ideas, we'd like to hear from you! Email us (sparker@measurementresourcesco.com) all of the data/research terms and concepts that befuddle you, and we'll weave them into our presentation.
Webinar Format
We will be using Zoom for this webinar. We will send login instructions to registrants closer to the day of the webinar. Sheri Chaney Jones will speak for approximately 45 minutes, followed by 15 minutes of Q&A. Questions will be submitted via the chat module, and Sheri will address as many questions as possible within that time frame.
Included in Your Registration
Following the webinar, participants will receive:
- PDF of presentation slides;
- Access to the webinar recording; and
- A free 30-minute, one-on-one phone consultation to discuss your organization’s data collection initiatives.
