About this event

This course will introduce participants to basic techniques for improvising movement in the body by oneself, in connection with the environment, and each other. Participants will access

  • Movement vocabulary of their own bodies
  • Develop a unique way of movement through solo dancing and dancing with others.
  • Learning to improvise their own movements

NOTE: While touch is a key component of this course, it is not required of any participant at any time. Participants should feel comfortable to excuse themselves from touch and observe or complete the exercises.
