OrganizerMarilyn McNeal is a Bay Area, California-based digital media instructor, independent musician and experiemental video maker focusing on American roots music, sound art and electronica.Her current work is onChantmagick, an original music project.She teaches digital media production skills atCity College of San Francisco,UC Berkeley Art Studioand the Bay Area Video Coalition (BAVC).

This 54 hour course is grounded in a thorough study of the essentials of  the Windows 10 landscape: Desktop, Start menu, Taskbar, and File Explorer. There is a major emphasis on the fundamentals of file and folder management as well as a focus on basic web skills like browser settings, web searching, downloading, uploading and attaching files to email.
Once these skills are established, we study the fundamentals of Microsoft Word, PowerPoint and Excel and also look at their parallels in Google Drive, Doc, Slides and Sheets.
<H2> ABOUT THE OLDER ADULTS PROGRAM</H2>
This course is offered through the Older Adults department at City College of San Francisco.The Older Adults Department at CCSF offers non-credit classes specially designed for those 55 plus, but all are welcome to attend. Classes offered are in the areas of computer training, legal services, health, fitness, fine arts, and the humanities.
