This 3-hour class offers a clear introduction to the basics of bookkeeping for small business owners. Learn how to organize your records and manage your finances effectively. Designed to stand alone or serve as a pre-requisite for our full-day hands-on bookkeeping workshop, this session gives you the essential tools to build a strong financial foundation. This class is eligible for the City of Austin Business Skills Certificate Program. The instructor is Joana Linares, Founder & CEO of Enumerista.

Participants will also get a free toolkit – a collection of templates, forms, worksheets, software and other helpful resources to help make good use of the information shared in class.

This class is availabe live, in-person at the city's Small Business Training Room for networking and interaction with the instructor and others in the class. You also have the option to participate virtually, via Zoom.

This workshop is eligible for the City of Austin Business Skills Certificate program. Participants who complete six eligible courses in the program are recognized in a public awards ceremony with other local business and community leaders.
