YOUR INSTRUCTORS:

Daisy Tennant

Daisy has been practicing and teaching the Alexander Technique for over 20 years. She first came across it while studying theatre at Royal Central School of Speech and Drama in London and after several years of taking one-to-one lessons decided to go deeper, completing the 3-year intensive teacher training in 2004. She has since worked with performers of all kinds in drama schools and privately, and built a thriving practice in secondary schools. Daisy is also a working voice actor, connecting with clients from her home studios in Florence, Italy and Petrolia, California.

Trine C Jensen

Trine C Jensen is an experienced Voice Director, Acting & Movement Coach. She directs Voice Over in Games and teaches workshops in the US and Europe. She has taught for the SAG-AFTRA Foundation, The Danish National School of the Performing Arts, The National Film School of Denmark, and the Film Akademie in Ludwigsburg Germany. Her workshops focus on acting on voice over and performance capture for games, which requires fast work on your feet. She is known for approaching character creation from the body. Trine has a BFA in Theatre from New World School of the Arts, an MS in Organization Development from Pepperdine University, and she graduated with her Alexander Technique teacher certification from ATI-LA in November 2023 and now integrates the AT into all her work.

TESTIMONIALS

A Transformative Introduction to Self-Care

Trine C Jensen and Daisy Tennant’s online Alexander Technique introductory class completely reshaped my understanding of self-care, especially as a voice actor. As a team, they create a learning environment that is both supportive and adaptable. Their different perspectives complement each other, offering multiple ways to connect with the work.

I was able to learn at my own pace and fully be myself. That experience changed me in ways I never expected—helping me make more conscious choices as a voice actor and in my daily life. By releasing stored tension and rewiring ingrained movement habits, I’ve grown in both my work and my well-being. I’m forever grateful to these wonderful teachers for their wisdom, patience, and generosity. ~ Paula Tiso - Voice Actor.

Daisy and Trine are a force to be reckoned with!

AT has created a monumental shift in my performances in acting, music, and in visual art. The class exercises have helped with my awareness, habits, and realizing how much our bodies are trying to support us if we simply let it. Not to dull from celebrating the opportunity to have taken this class now, but I honestly wish I had this course in the beginning of my acting journey. This is truly the bedrock to build a nurturing scaffold for, as an artist and for the art. To put in short, I highly recommend this class and would love to see more opportunities to practice Alexander Technique! Thank you Trine and Daisy! Maria D, Actor

This course has been incredibly helpful, both in performance and day to day life. Learned lots of useful tools to help me stay present and calm my nerves, and I loved the class! Melissa C, Peformer
