A narrative story told in the voice of many; a diasporic song over water and through time: INTO THE CURRENT offers us the opportunity to Ride the Tides of Time, feeling fully in the present with all our parts intact with pieces that we didn’t know we held. Two Narrators (Tongo Eisen-Martin and Mimi Tempestt) co-create the bones of our collective body: musicians, poets, revolutionaries, spirit healers and diviners of all kinds become the flesh of our collective body swimming INTO THE CURRENT as we Ride the Tides of Time through generations past, present, and future to carry a message of who we are and who we will be in the honoring of who we have been.
