Interwoven: Starworks Forging Workshop for Service Members

Special Operations Forces Service Members are invited to spend the morning with The Station Foundation to experience stillness while working with steel. Join us as we tap into creativity, explore the extraordinary art of flameworking, and practice the meditative movements to reduce stress and encourage mental clarity. 

There's little room on our calendar for stillness. Changing that routine requires intention. When gathered around a fire forging, opportunities to practice mindfulness present themselves. We can slow down and check in with what our bodies are telling us. We can focus on our breath. We can recalibrate in silence. In doing so, we become more grounded, emotionally available, and better versions of ourselves for those we love. 

The Station invites active duty and veteran Service Members to join us for a forging workshop. No experience is required; come open-minded and look forward to connecting with our local Station community through this experience.

Event Details:

• Beverages and snacks will be provided.

• Participants must wear closed toe shoes, long pants, and natural fibers.
• No experience necessary.

This is a first come first serve event with a maximum capacity of 6 participants. We kindly request a cancellation notice no less than 72 hours prior to the event. Thank you for your consideration.
