Interview Skills | Lunch and Learn

Take a lunch break and listen in on how to “be” when you conduct an interview. Very few people learn to be good at interviewing except through trial and error. In this hour-long interactive training you’ll learn some tips and techniques for getting yourself ready to interview someone and how a good interview fits into your hiring process.

Organized by

Learn:

  • how to hire Right every time,
  • how to set clear expectations on your team to lower drama and ramp up results, and
  • how trust works on high performing teams.

Getting the best out of your team means you and they are satisfied. This requires your team to be self-accountable (know what they are responsible for and what success looks like for them and you), trust one another and be really trusted by your customers, and to be involved in the critical process of choosing new team mates.

Our clients have teammates that know exactly what they are responsible for and drive together to make that happen. They know what the gaps are on the team and where they are going next.

Trust is imperative if you are going to have a scaleable and sustainable business. Our clients know how trust works and are very clear what to do when trust breaks down - because it does. If you don't have trust with and between your team mates and customers, you are in a scary place.

Getting it right the first time is tough when selecting new employees, especially in small to mid-size companies that may have limited time and staff to devote to the process of hiring and coordinating. Our clients learn how to hire for themselves. They learn how to clearly describe their business culture, develop a step-by-step interview process for looking and candidates, and how to prove they've got a good fit without relying totally on their intuition.
