Join us for an interview with Dr. Carlo Yuvienco, the newly appointed Incubator Director at the Ford Center for Life Science Innovation. He will tell us about the Incubator as well as his plans to continue the Incubator’s mission to support life science startups at the Rockefeller University and wider Upper East Side ecosystem.

About the Ford Center for Life Science Innovation at the Rockefeller University:

Comprising three floors of newly renovated Class-A laboratory space on the Rockefeller campus, the Center will contain a community of translational researchers and high-performing start-ups that will define the interface between high-impact biomedical research and early-stage commercialization along the Upper East Side biomedical corridor of New York. The Ford Biotechnology Incubator will provide space for 10-15 early-stage life science companies selected for residency.

About Carlo Yuvienco, PhD:

Carlo Yuvienco, PhD currently serves as Director of the Ford Biotechnology Incubator within the Ford Center for Life Science Innovation at The Rockefeller University.

Prior to becoming Director, Dr. Yuvienco was an experienced director-level leader of life science partnering strategy and capital project development. He served his postgraduate years as an accomplished biomedical engineer with both industry and published academic achievements. He spent the last 10 years in biotech start-up creation, life science industry development for NYC government, and partnerships development for an early-stage AI drug discovery company. Dr. Yuvienco's experience spans laboratory management, capital project development, start-up ecosystem programming, workforce development, and strategic research collaboration building.
