Intertwine Connect featuring Tree for All

Intertwine Connect featuring Tree for All

Breakside Brewery - BeavertonBeaverton, OR
Wednesday, Apr 29 from 4 pm to 7 pm
Overview

Join us for our first Washington County event, to celebrate each other and TREES!

The Intertwine Alliance is excited to continue its Intertwine Connect series with an April event featuring Tree for All.

Tree for All is a collaborative conservation-scale restoration effort encompassing the Tualatin River watershed. Over the next 15 years, Tree for All partners - many of whom are Intertwine Alliance members - will focus on two primary initiatives: restoring connected habitats and building a healthy tree canopy.

Join us as we turn the Beaverton Breakside Brewery's Gold Room green for Intertwine Connect in the heart of the Tualatin River watershed.

WHAT TO EXPECT:

  • 4 p.m. - Casual social time with your Intertwine Alliance community. Beer, cider and nonalcholic drinks available for purchase. Tasty food served up by six food carts. Enjoy Breakside's plentiful indoor and outdoor space.
  • 5:30 p.m. - Welcome from Intertwine Alliance board members and staff, followed by a short & lively presentation about Tree for All. Learn why it's super cool and how you can get involved.
  • 6 to 7 p.m. - More mixing and mingling
  • COMMUNITY RESOURCE TABLE: This quarter we'll try something new. Please bring any flyers or other info you'd like to distribute (keeping in mind that we'll have ONE table to be shared by all).

The event is free. Please consider supporting local business Breakside with a drink purchase.

There is no parking lot, but street parking is available in the neighborhood, and there are bike racks at the brewery. The 52 line bus drops off right in front, and MAX is about a 10-minute walk.

Kids are welcome, and we love to see them there!
-------------

Intertwine Connect is a quarterly series of gatherings to help Intertwine Alliance partners and friends build community, network and stay connected. Intertwine Summits are wonderful, but they only happen every 18 months. We need more time together! Gatherings are planned and hosted by our Board Small Events Committee, aka the party planning committee.
