Honor Juneteenth with a The Real HBCU Conversation Series about the connection between Latino students, Hispanic serving institutions(HSI's) and historically Black colleges and universities (HBCUs).

Dr. Natalie Muñoz is a dynamic AfroLatina Assistant Professor and captivating speaker. She began her academic career in the College of Arts and Sciences at Rutgers University Newark's Social Work Department. However, she has dedicated the last 20 years to fostering inclusivity, advancing graduation rates and success of underserved students on college campuses.

The mission of MENTOR NEWARK (formerly Newark Mentoring Movement) is to amplify and accelerate the work of local youth mentoring organizations. The focus is on building the capacity of local mentoring organizations and partnering with Newark Board of Education to create quality mentoring opportunities for the youth of Newark.
