As a pre-announcement, SCPTR will be starting a Psychedelic Therapy Training Program in March in Salt Lake City.  This is for all those that are interested, not just licensed professionals. This will be an 8 week course with in depth content covering plant medicines, ceremony, therapeutic modalities, Neuroscience, Harm reduction, psychedelic-assisted psychotherapy, Holotropic Breathwork, and much more.... This conference is intended for ALL those that are interested in the new science and therapy of Psychedelic medicines.  We stand at a new Horizon where Psychedelic Medicines and Wisdoms Traditions are being researched and used widely now to treat depression, anxiety, addiction, PTSD and more. In the Third Wave, medicines such as Ayahuasca, LSD, Psilocybin and MDMA are being studied for safe cliical use. This conference is for ALL those that are interested in learning about the new science and therapy models using Psychedelics. We will cover microdosing, psychedelic-assisted psychotherapy, legalization, harm-reducation, integration after an eperience, and more.  It is an inaugural event with the specific goals of Education and Identifying the network of local interested persons and professionals.

Keynote: Jame Fadiman, PhD  How can two high doses of psilocybin help people with treatment resistant depression (with an average span of 20 years) obtain full remission that lasts for months? Why is MDMA therapy showing an 83% level of efficacy in treating PTSD while current treatments, at most, show only a 25% improvement rate? What are the dangers and challenges associated with psychedelic use in a recreational or therapeutic environment?  How can microdosing LSD alter creative and cognitive abilities? How can it improve so many different physical conditions? A large sample comparison of the effectiveness of microdosing, conventional treatment and high dose self-administered psychedelics for a number of physical and mental conditions.
