Intermediate/Advanced Handbuilding Course

This class is for artists with some experience that want to learn new methods and expand their horizons with handbuilding techniques. Over the course of 4 classes, we will delve into working with hard slabs, soft slabs, and coils (this method is actually fun once you understand it!). Forms we explore may include but are not limited to pitchers, jars, teapots, large vases, and sculptural work. If you want to use this class as open studio and receive coaching and feedback on your own in-progress work, that is also welcome. You will leave this course with new tips and tricks that will level up your skills with all things handbuilding.

• Open studio time in between classes to continue on your projects or practice techniques

• Access to studio equipment and materials as needed

First class meets May 14th and meets each week on Thursday nights for 4 weeks total!
