Intermediate tango dance classes with Mira Barakat (3 dates)

In November, we are happy to have tango teacher Mira Barakat back at La Bruja! Mira’s classes focus on simple, elegant movements for social dancing. Mira is equally amazing at leading and following, and promotes role-switching for those who would like to try it. She is an expert at communicating clearly to a large group. This is a series of three Wednesdays. We encourage everyone to sign up for all three classes.

No partner necessary. The teacher encourages students to switch partners throughout the class.

6:45-7:00 pm: check-in

7:00-8:00 pm beginning tango

8:00-8:30 pm practica (intermediates may arrive at 8:00 to practice)

8:30-9:30 pm intermediate tango

9:30-10:00 pm practica

The practicas are included with the classes. Stay, dance, and ask questions!

$65.87 general admission (three classes)

$49.87 student with ID (three classes)

In order to join the intermediate class, we recommend that you have been dancing tango regularly for three months (12 dance classes). Intermediates are also welcome to sign up for the beginner class.
