What will I be doing in the class?

Besides having the most fun ever? We will be going over some cookie facts, decorating techniques and you will be decorating your very own set of cookies that you will take home with you that day.

Do you offer a virtual class?

At this time we do not offer virtual classes - but we have something in the works! Follow our socials to make sure you are kept up to date.

Question 3

Can I purchase an additional take-home kit?

Accepted Answer

Yes! Many parents or practicing cookiers purchase additional class kits to take home and re-do the classes. You can purchase an add-on kit during check-out. Your kit will be available at the end of your class - so don't forget it!

Question 4

Do I need to know how to bake?

Accepted Answer

Nope! We will have the cookies pre-made for you and will give you the recipe in an email after class so you can create your own on your own!

Question 5

What will we learn in class?

Accepted Answer

You’ll learn what goes into preparing royal icing, the value of different icing consistencies, how to color icing, and tricks to fill piping bags. You’ll also learn different decorating techniques such as marbling, outlining, wet-on-wet, and and painting. Techniques will vary depending on the class.

What do I need to bring?

Nothing! Everything will be provided for you including our rather tasty sugar cookies. All you need to do is join us and have fun! Messy decorator? You can bring your own apron or just wear easy-to-wash clothing. There is a PowerPoint, so if you wear glasses, we'd encourage you to bring them as well

What age is best for cookie class?

Our classes are for almost any age! From youngsters to grandparents - come on in and have some cookie fun with us! Our in-person classes are great for any age; however, kiddos under 14 will need a ticketed parent taking the class as well.

Question 8

Can just my child take the class?

Accepted Answer

We ask that all parents also attend the classes with their children under 14 (ticketed). For children over 14, you can drop off your child to take the class and return to pick-up in 2 hours. With space restrictions, we do not have room for parents to stand by and watch their children in class.

Question 9

What will I bring home?

Accepted Answer

By the end of the class, you will have created a set of gorgeous cookies ready to dry for 24-48 hours in their own box. And of course, you’ll have new skills, memories, and fun!

Can I sign up as an individual or as a group?

Accepted Answer

You can sign up either as an individual, with a friend, or with a whole group. The more the merrier! We are limited to a total of 11 seats per class, so definitely sign up ASAP!

Where are the classes located?

Accepted Answer

This class will be held at the Beans and Brews Coffee House - that address is 5200 FM 2920 #100, Spring, TX.

Question 12

I signed up for a class but can't make it?

Accepted Answer

We understand that life happens so that’s why we allow you to cancel up to 7 days before the class. You can always transfer your spot to a friend though (and what a nice friend you are). Cancelation between the 7-4 days will be a class credit redeemable for up to 6 months from the credit issue date.

Question 13

I need to cancel within 4 days of class.

Accepted Answer

We cannot issue refunds or class changes after 4 days prior to the class since the cookies are already a bakin'. If you still need to cancel, you can pick up your supplies the day of and diy with the powerpoint we will send out after class.
